“When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will this be, and what will be the sign of your coming [parousia] and of the end of the age?’ Jesus answered them, ‘Beware that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, “I am the Messiah!” and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not alarmed; for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places: all this is but the beginning of the birth pangs.” (Matthew 24: 3-8)
A few weeks ago I had a health crisis of sorts. For about a week I was very low on energy and at one point my strength was so depleted that I thought I was experiencing final dissolution. At that point, on a Sunday evening, I had a hemorrhage. I was taken to the hospital where the doctors found among other things that I had some kind of virus in my system. I was given the proper treatment and a few days later I was fine although it is taking the best part of three weeks to feel healthy again.
I was able to re-post one article and feed the blog with writings by some selected guest bloggers. I was also able to fire a quick email to some of my friends. I asked them for prayers and they were generous to the point I felt clearly those prayers as I started to get better. All I can say to all of you is “thank you” from my heart. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I am very grateful for your help.
Well, I was barely done recovering when some other odd thing happened. I was listening to music when three components of my old stereo system gave up almost at the same time. I was puzzled because the amplifier was fine but the components were experiencing strange failures. One CD player kept opening and closing the tray until it got stuck shut. The other component simply stopped working. Whatever it was also affected my computer. I got the “blue screen of death” and only after prayers and several reboots the machine began to work normally again.
I know for a fact that I have been the object of satanic attacks. I was told that such things are rising in number throughout the world. The words of Our Lord: “See that you are not alarmed” come to mind. If we were exempt from suffering these small mishaps we would not know we are under attack. Signs happen for a reason. Birth contractions are nature’s way to say “a baby is on the way!” So, we have to look ahead to the blessings that got the devil jealous in the first place. He is envious and resentful by nature. He knows sometimes when a great blessing is coming our way, he then tries to ruin our day so we don’t experience the joy of that blessing. Scripture, Tradition, and the lives of the saints are filled with such experiences. Nothing new there!
Changing the subject only a little bit … Europe appears to be careening into that war that Our Lady has mentioned to several seers in the last decade or so. “See that you are not alarmed” and only exercise prudence. God is not leaving us alone. All the awful things happening in the world “must take place, but the end is not yet” —we have been warned and instructed— simply trust and wait. It won’t be long before our redemption is complete. Rather, give thanks for the privilege and grace of being witnesses of Our Lord in these terrible times.
Thanks again for your prayers and good wishes. May God bless you all. I owe you big!

Postscript: You may have noticed several typos in this last post. I am still a bit foggy but I think I caught them all. Again, thanks to all of you for your kind prayers. Please know that I am also praying for you and I am also offering these minor pains of mine for your needs. Be prepared for trouble but count on God’s help. Our Lord is near.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. ~ Psalm 23:5-6
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. ~ 2 Timothy 1:6-7
