“If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.”
—President Dwight D. Eisenhower, March 6, 1956

The quotes above came to me while the Southeastern United States endured that terrible storm Helene. Please pray for all the people affected. I thought that the terrible destruction following that hurricane will require years of intelligent, concerted, extraordinary effort to return everything to normality. The country has been hit at a time when there is a crisis of leadership not because there is a lack of good men willing to sacrifice for their country. No, there are many good men out there but they are for the most part eclipsed by crooks and traitors who know how to impede and deviate anyone trying to bring the country back to the straight and narrow.
This is the moment to pray hard and often.
You may have heard of the “new moon” (asteroid 2024 PT5) that is orbiting our planet since September 29 (St. Michael’s) —the orbiting will end on November 25. That is the day the Church remembers … St. Alan! Alain de la Roche (1428–1475), or Alanus de Rupe, canonized saint, “Alan of the Rock”. And a rock it is circling the Earth as asteroid 2024 PT5. St. Alan was the first promoter of the daily recitation of the Rosary. And is it not the Holy Rosary like an “orbit” of five mysteries?
I leave you with those thoughts. It’s been a long day here by the Río de la Plata.
Please pray for me as well.
