St. Benedict delivers on the day of his Solemnity

No, this is not a biography of St. Benedict but a moment I am taking to thank the Saint for a special grace received in the day of his solemnity. For those of you who read News and Additional Prayers and/or Asking for Prayers are surely aware that there is a problem of demonic infection very near my place of residence. Unfortunately, the property is a condominium and for exorcists to come and deal with the problem they must be called by the whole community — so I have been told— Since apparently I am the only believer, fasting and praying are the only remedies left.

Christmas Day, 2022 I asked for your prayers and you responded splendidly. A number of congregations of both nuns and monks promised to help with prayers and Holy Masses. The lawsuit progressed and was quickly resolved but for some arcane reason, the process was allowed to continue. The Plaintiff apparently made the mistake of abandoning the cause, ignoring the pleas of the Judge to simply appear in court. I believe you can guess why anyone could refuse to stay away from a docket. I’ll say no more because it is not prudent.

I have trusted the preservation of the property in dispute to St. Joseph and the expelling of malignant entities to St. Benedict. Little did I imagine last July 11 —on the Solemnity of St. Benedict— there was going to be a rather spectacular court decision against the Plaintiff. I was elated to say the least.

A number of events will follow. I hope all will lead to the end of this sad situation. I wish I could describe this in more detail but that could be detrimental to my cause so … suffice to say that on his own Solemnity the beloved saint delivered the first volley.

I trust myself to your prayers that the future inhabitants of this building may be honest, hard working people. For those interested to have a nest far away from the conflicts now clouding the Northern Hemisphere … there will be nice condos available at low prices. I can predict that much. I will keep you posted.
